A Real Export Case from Machine Preparation to Job Site Operation
This article records the export journey of three used Hitachi excavators purchased by our customer in Ethiopia. After the purchase was confirmed, the machines went through final preparation at Joncee Machinery before being loaded for domestic transportation to Qingdao Port, China.
From factory preparation and truck loading to port handling and ocean shipping, every stage was documented with photos. After the excavators arrived in Ethiopia, the customer completed the final inspection and confirmed that the machines were in satisfactory working condition. The three Hitachi excavators were then quickly put into construction work.
For us, this was not simply a shipment. It was a complete process from a confirmed customer order to the actual delivery and use of the equipment.
Three Used Hitachi Excavators Prepared for Export
After the customer completed the purchase, our team began preparing the three Hitachi excavators for shipment.
Before the machines left our facility, we carried out a final check of their overall condition and made sure the equipment was ready for transportation. The machines were also cleaned and prepared for loading so that the customer could receive them in the agreed condition.

Loading the Three Hitachi Excavators onto Trucks

Domestic Transportation from Our Facility to Qingdao Port
After loading was completed, the transport vehicles left our facility and headed toward Qingdao Port.
The domestic transportation stage connects the equipment preparation process with international shipping. Before the excavators can be loaded onto an ocean-going vessel, they first need to reach the designated port and complete the necessary export arrangements.
Qingdao Port is one of China's major international ports and is an important logistics hub for exporting heavy machinery and construction equipment.
The three Hitachi excavators were transported to Qingdao for the next stage of their journey.
Arriving at Qingdao Port
After the domestic journey, the three Hitachi excavators arrived at Qingdao Port.
At this stage, the machines were prepared for port handling and vessel loading. Compared with ordinary cargo, heavy construction equipment requires specialized handling because of its size, weight, and structure.
The port loading process was another important stage of this export case. Our team coordinated the necessary arrangements to ensure that the three excavators could be loaded for international transportation.
Loading the Excavators onto the Vessel at Qingdao Port
The three Hitachi excavators were subsequently loaded onto the vessel at Qingdao Port, marking the beginning of their international journey to Ethiopia.
The loading operation required careful handling of the machines and proper positioning for transportation. The excavators had already been prepared for shipping, and their components were secured according to the transportation requirements.

Since Ethiopia is a landlocked country, imported heavy equipment normally requires a combination of ocean and inland transportation to reach the final destination.
After leaving Qingdao Port, the shipment was transported by sea toward the region before continuing by inland transportation to Ethiopia.
The complete logistics route can be summarized as:

The Three Hitachi Excavators Arrived in Ethiopia
After completing the international transportation and inland delivery process, the three Hitachi excavators finally arrived in Ethiopia and were handed over to the customer.
At this point, the export process moved from transportation to the most important stage for the customer: receiving and inspecting the machines.
The customer checked the excavators after arrival and confirmed that the equipment was received successfully.
Customer Inspection and Working Feedback
After receiving the machines, the customer carried out an inspection of the three Hitachi excavators.
The customer confirmed that the machines were in satisfactory condition and could be put into operation.
For us, this feedback was particularly important because the success of an export order should not end when the equipment leaves the port. The real result is whether the customer receives the machines successfully and can actually use them for their work.
From Delivery to Real Construction Work
After the final inspection, the three Hitachi excavators were quickly put into construction work in Ethiopia.
The customer provided working photos showing the machines operating at the job site. These photos provide a real record of the equipment after delivery and demonstrate the final stage of this export journey.
From our perspective, these job-site photos are more meaningful than simply showing a machine leaving the warehouse. They show that the equipment completed the journey from China to Ethiopia and was subsequently put into practical use by the customer.
